A hunt is on for two thieves who held a worker at knifepoint and stole more than $2 million worth of valuables from a Melbourne jewellery store.
The men, who appeared to be dressed as tradies, entered the Dandenong shop and assaulted the worker on Sunday.
Police say the pair threatened him with a knife, forced him to open a safe and tied him up.
They then stole 21 carat gold necklaces, bracelets, rings, pendants and cash believed to be worth up to $2.5m.
They made their getaway in the victim's car before switching to a silver Toyota Camry.
Police have released computer-generated images of the suspects and CCTV of the second vehicle.
One man is described as Caucasian, about 165cm tall and skinny.
He was wearing a green fluoro top, brown pants, sunglasses, gloves and a balaclava.
The other is thought to be aged in his 50s, is 175-180cm tall and has white and black hair.
He was wearing an orange top and pants, a dark coloured cap, blue face mask, black glasses and gloves.
Both men have been described as very strong.
