Some athletes in the NBA spend too much time on social media and let noise from the masses impact their psyche.
But not Warriors guard Klay Thompson. He reads traditional media. Thompson doesn’t gain angst while ingesting information. Rather, he gains knowledge.
Thompson’s endorsement of The Bay Area News Group, which includes such publications as The East Bay Times and The Mercury News, has spread the word of his ritual.

Thompson seems to never get fired up about anything, possibly because his knowledge of the world is wide enough to put his intense work environment in perspective. Many players in the NBA, as well as its fans, should take note and give traditional media a place in their lives.
