Kirk Cousins likes to mix things up in the offseason

I’m always curious what NFL players do during the offseason.

How much time do you put into your craft and how much time do you relax?

It’s probably not healthy, mentally or physically, to always been doing football-related activities.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins mixs things up in the offseason, including playing some tennis.

“Even my training, I try to get a little creative and do some other things, like playing tennis,” Cousins said Wednesday. “Just things where I can still get a sweat and work on agility, but also not constantly doing the same drops and the same footwork over and over and over. . . So you got a variety of things that you do, and just try to enjoy it all and then hit the ground running when you get back here.”

Cousins also told reporters that he worked out with Chad Beebe, Tyler Conklin and Laquon Treadwell during the offseason, getting some throws in.

The Vikings, and Cousins, are under a lot of pressure in 2019 after a disappointing 2018.
