King Charles gets candid about ageing as he opens new hospital

King Charles III has officially opened the 736-bed Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick.
During his visit, the King interacted with patients, staff, and volunteers at the facility.
He got candid about the effects of ageing, commenting to an 85-year-old patient that "bits don't work so well when you get past 70".
The King apologised for a previous delay in visiting Birmingham, which had been due to his cancer treatment.
