Kin season 3 - the most likely characters to get jail or be killed as gardaí and rivals close in

Sunday night viewers of RTE’s Kin season two finale were left stunned and with several burning questions on their mind.

Cruel mobster Bren, who was officially ousted as a paedophile following strong hints throughout the series, was killed by his much-maligned brother Frank, played by Aidan Gillen.

After killing sicko Bren, who had beaten Frank to a pulp earlier in the episode, Frank put the gun on himself much to the shock of viewers.

There are still a number of unanswered questions ahead of the upcoming third season of the hit show.

Odds have been compiled by www.casinosource.ie for both the main character's chances of surviving and also to steer clear of Mountjoy Prison by the end of the hit show.

Casino Source spokesperson Colm Phelan said: “Our traders compiled these odds and probabilities based on what’s happened so far in both seasons, but the show has prior form of doing the unexpected, just like we saw with the season finale last Sunday."

The net looks to be closing in on Amanda's money laundering scheme, while her plot to set up Madigan was foiled after he was tipped off by an inside informant in garda ranks.

Things often don’t go to plan for Amanda’s enemies, hence Madigan’s not-so-favourable probabilities of seeing out season three alive (25%) or ending up in jail (50%).

Amanda herself looks likely to make it to the end of the final season, with traders giving her odds of being killed at 7/1.

A spell behind bars seems more likely at 5/2, or 28.6% - but due to her criminal business savvy and financial backing, there is the strong possibility of escaping penitentiary.

Elsewhere, ‘The Magician’ Michael Kinsella has made enough enemies that his chances of getting clipped (3/1) or nicked (5/1) will always remain relatively high.

Eric ‘Viking’ Kinsella, his cousin, could go off the rails after his father’s probable death and the breakdown of his relationship with Nikki.

His chance of going back behind bars are (2/1).

Mr Phelan added: "We expect Wayne Madigan to have a more prominent role next season and spark what should be a bloody feud with the Kinsella’s and company, but if history is anything to go by, the main antagonist rarely wins against the well-spoken gangsters."
