Kimberly Hart-Simpson shares freaky story behind Corrie return which she 'manifested'

Kimberly Hart-Simpson has revealed that she believes she manifested her Coronation Street comeback.

The soap star, 35, played sex worker Nicky Wheatley and she first appeared on the ITV soap back in 2020.

Following her departure from the cobbles, Kimberly knew that she always wanted to return one day.

In a bid to make her dreams of returning to the soap come true, the blonde beauty created a vision board full of images of herself on the soap so that her desires would manifest into fruition.

Thankfully for Kimberly, it worked - and it took less than three hours to manifest.

ITV bosses confirmed in December that she would be making a comeback to the cobbles.

Lifting the lid on her manifestations, the actress told New! Magazine: "I wrote a line about how I'd feel if I got to go back to work and who I would tell first.

"Two-and-a-half hours later, my agent called me and said Corrie had put the feelers out."

Kimberly said that she feels 'blessed' to be back on the iconic soap as she opened up about how serious she is about manifesting her goals.

"I like to wake up and see my goals first thing in the morning," she explained.

"I've got a vision board of ten things I want in my life. One morning I felt like my energy was a bit off, so I didn't do anything that day. I just gave myself time to realign my visions of what I wanted. And the first thing that went on that board was Coronation Street."

Lifting the lid on what it's like being back on the set of Corrie, Kimberly insisted it's as though she never left.

"It honestly feels as though I've never left. I've just picked up where I left off with everyone."

Kimberley's character, Nicky, was last in the soap in September 2020, when she spent time with Daniel after the death of his wife - with him taking an instant shine to her.

However, he hadn't realised she wanted him to pay for her company.

In final scenes two years ago, Nicky disappeared to start a new life with some money stolen by Daniel from abusive Geoff Metcalfe.

The actress had previously insisted her heart was "always" with Coronation Street.

"Do you know what? My heart will always forever and utterly be Coronation Street. Just because that's what I grew up on. It's just in my blood," she explained recently, "It's part of my life isn't it? And it's just been a, it's been a journey, always waking up, going, 'I'm meant to be in Corrie, I'm meant to be in Corrie.' For ten years I auditioned for that show. Ten years!"
