Kim Kardashian West’s newly created line of non-medical face masks has sold out within just one hour.
On Saturday, the reality TV star revealed that her shapewear brand, SKIMS, would produce a line of reusable face masks in five neutral shades designed to match a range of skin tones.
The masks, costing $8 each, are made from a blend of Nylon and Spandex.
While the products can reduce exposure to bodily fluids, SKIMS confirmed that they will not eradicate the risk of contracting viruses, including Covid-19.
SKIMS has confirmed that a new batch of masks will be available from next week.
On its website, a statement reads: “We are working with our supplier in LA to produce more masks as quickly as possible.
“The next batch will be available next week.”
The statement directs customers to sign up to a “waitlist” in order to receive a notification when the masks are back in stock.
