Fans of The Kardashians have hit out at Kim Kardashian after she was pictured spending time with her sister’s ex, Tristan Thompson, during Thanksgiving.
The Skims founder, 42, was seen to be hanging out with the basketball player, 31, at a celebration last week, despite him being unfaithful to her sister, Khloé Kardashian. Tristan reportedly cheated on Khloé multiple times throughout their relationship, even going as far to father a child with another woman while they were together. The couple have since split.
Kim posted on Instagram that she and Tristan had spent time together on Thursday, where they visited a juvenile detention facility in Los Angeles to dine with young men ahead of the holiday.
Uploading several images of the event, the student lawyer wrote: “This year I’m really thankful for the people I have met in all of the prisons around the country. This week @realtristan13 and I had an inspiring Friendsgiving dinner with the young men incarcerated at Camp Kilpatrick.
“These young men have earned their way to this model camp in Malibu for great behavior. Many are in college classes and have made huge changes in their life. My favorite part at our dinner was going around the table and hearing what their dreams and aspirations are. I can’t wait to see them all come true.”
The images included in the wholesome post showed Kim and Tristan sharing a meal with the group of young men, however many of Kim’s followers weren’t too impressed, letting her know their feelings in the comment section.
One fan wrote: “Why are u doing this with Tristan after what he did to ur sister? Please make it make sense.”
Another follower said: “Kim what we aren’t going to do is make Tristan the enemy and then try to give him his redemption arc. Blur his face out lol.”
A third commented: “I see they finally put Tristan in jail.”
Tristan was first caught cheating on Khloé, 38, the weekend before she gave birth to their daughter, True, back in April 2018. She forgave him, only for him to allegedly cheat on her again, this time with her sister Kylie Jenner ’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods.
Tristan conceived son Theo with Maralee Nichols during the same weekend that Khloé threw him a 30th birthday party.
It was the last straw for Khloé and the relationship ended for good, however the former couple continue to co-parent their children.
