Kim Kardashian accused of 'trying to steal spotlight' from pregnant sister Kourtney

Kim Kardashian has been slammed for "trying to steal the spotlight" from her pregnant big sister Kourtney.

Fans speculated that SKIMS founder Kim, 42, might try to overshadow her older sister's pregnancy announcement, and now they believe she has done just that.

The 44-year-old POOSH founder announced her pregnancy by holding up a "Travis, I'm Pregnant" sign at a Blink-182 concert at the weekend, leaving fans enamoured.

Shortly after the happy pregnancy announcement fans began to speculate that her younger sister Kim might try to overshadow her big sister's joyous news.

Underneath the video of the announcement, fans quickly predicted an announcement from Kim.

One person wrote: "Kim is going to announce something big really soon."

While another said: "I'm so so happy for them. Kim is gonna be spiralling with all this attention they're going to get."

Meanwhile, on a Kardashian-themed Reddit thread, one user created a forum so fans could add their predictions on how Kim might "upstage" Kourtney.

And now it seems that Kim has tried to take the spotlight away from her big sister after sharing a video of a recent charitable act.

Kim could be seen in the clip with an influencer as they surprised a former prisoner with some money and a trip to Disneyland.

YouTuber Zachery Dereniowski could be seen in the video approaching a man and his son who were sitting on a sofa.

The YouTube star then asked the father-and-son duo if they had "$3 for coffee," to buy his "boss".

Handing the money over, Zachery then introduced himself and explained that his "boss" was actually Kim Kardashian and added that he was joining her to talk about "prison reform".

The YouTube and TikTok star then asked if the dad, whose name was Jeremy, knew anything about prison.

Spending six years in prison, he was given a 10-year sentence and at that time but was able to shorten his sentence albeit still missing much of his son's early life.

Handing the $3 back to the father-and-son duo, Kim then walked into the room and announced that she was "paying $5,000" to Jeremy's restitution.

It was also revealed that the Kim and Zachery were sending the father and son to Disneyland for the day.

"Too often parents who owe restitution find themselves having to choose between their freedom and putting food on the table for their families. To learn more about how restitution and probation trap fathers in the system and to help bring real change text REFORM to 81411 and follow @reform," Kim said alongside the post.

But fans soon took to Reddit to accuse Kim of trying to "ruin Kourtney's parade", which then soon led to many slamming Kim's act of kindness.

"Just Kim ruining Kourtney's Parade!!!" penned one critic on the Reddit page.

While another said: "Look at me doing all this stuff whereas Kourtney is just having a baby! Big deal."

"Trying to steal the spotlight for sure," someone else added.
