Kim Goldman: Finally, the O.J. Simpson miniseries is over

April 07--Kim Goldman, whose brother, Ron, was found stabbed to death alongside Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994, has long criticized the FX miniseries about the O.J. Simpson murder case.

"Finally, it's over. #PeoplevsOJSimpson @ACSFX," Goldman tweeted Wednesday, one day after FX aired the finale to "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson." The 10-part series followed Simpson's trial and subsequent acquittal of the murders of his ex-wife and Goldman, a waiter from Buffalo Grove.

Kim, who was portrayed by Jessica Blair Herman, said the miniseries has reopened old wounds. Her father, Fred, complained that Ron and Nicole Simpson were only briefly mentioned on the show.

Cuba Gooding Jr., who played Simpson, said the Goldman family has been brave in their objections.

"If anything they've shown courage to still state their opinions of how the victims in these horrendous crimes voices' weren't being heard. You forget that. I know I forgot that when I cheered the not-guilty verdict, that there were two families' lives--three families' lives--that were shattered forever," Gooding Jr. recently told E! News.
