Kim Chiu’s brother now a professional pilot in Canada

MANILA, Philippines – Kim Chiu’s brother, John Paul Yap Chiu, is now a pilot. 

Kim, a proud older sister, congratulated John Paul on Instagram. Kim said that he moved to Canada, away from his family, for 4 years to study and work two jobs on the side.

“Never been this proud!!!!” she wrote. “Congrats [John Paul], dreams really come true! Once you set that goal and you worked hard for it!!! it will really turn into reality!”

Kim also posted a video of her riding in the back of a plane with her brother in the pilot’s seat.

“Feeling like a mother,” she said, about how proud she was. Kim didn’t specify which city John Paul gave them a bird’s eye view of, but she tagged her location as Edmonton, Alberta in Canada in a previous post.
