Gardai have seized a whopping €770,000 of cocaine during an investigation in connection to the massive Kildare raid.
The follow-up search uncovered a staggering 11 kg of cocaine which has now brought the estimated value of all drugs seized in this investigation to €8.2 million.
Two people were arrested after €7.4 million of cannabis herb was found during the raid yesterday.
They are currently in the custody of the gardai at Nass Garda Station following an extension to their periods of detention.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Since 1st January, 2021, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) has seized illicit drugs with a total estimated street value of €12.1 million; while GNDOCB has also seized cash to a value of over €3.27 million and, also, one firearm accompanied by five rounds of ammunition, within that period.
"A total of eleven persons have been arrested in the course of investigations associated with the relevant seizures of drugs, cash and firearms."
