Kieran Tierney reveals Celtic still runs through his veins in Arsenal video

Kieran Tierney doesn't even try to hide his undying love for Celtic despite carving out a new career in the Premier League with Arsenal .

The 22-year-old, who earned the Hoops a Scottish record £25million when he moved to the Emirates on English deadline day, made his first appearance for the Gunners on Friday.

Tierney lined up in an EPL2 match against Wolves, lasting an hour in the 1-1 draw.

It's his first competitive action in over four months since he underwent a double hernia operation to solve a long running groin problem and afterwards he posted on social media to claim it was "class to be back."

But it's not all about the Gunners. Tierney clearly hasn't forgotten his roots as a video posted on Arsenal's YouTube page on Friday shows.

The Scotland star couldn't help but name check his boyhood heroes through the short film in which he is asked his favourite things.

On his three favourite players of all time, Tierney replied: "One of them is Scott Brown who I played with for many years and I learned a lot from. The other two are Celtic legends and that's Bobo Balde and Henrik Larsson.

"Favourite stadium hands down is Celtic Park. The noise and the atmosphere it creates is incredible and I'm lucky enough to have played there."

The left-back also reveals MMA is his favourite other sport while Glasgow musician Gerry Cinneman is his favourite singer.
