Kids write adorable and amusing job applications to become secret agents

Having lots of disguises and being able to communicate in Morse code are among the skills listed by children applying to be secret agents in a test run by the Royal Armouries.

The Armouries, which have a museum in Leeds, launched the exercise for users of its online learning hub.

Loads of children got in touch and the Armouries have published a couple of their favourites.

'Agent Foxglove' listed their impressive skills in a detailed application which said:

"I can hide in small areas.

"I can use Morse code (find out my name!).

"I have lots of different disguises.

"I'm a really good actor.

"I can write down special notes (Morse code).

"I am very observant."

Meanwhile, 'Agent Digitalis' writes:

"I am good with technology.

"I am good at hiding.

"I am good at sneaking around without being caught.

"I hope these are enough skills to become a secret agent."

Both hopefuls sign off with their names in Morse code, in true secret agent fashion.

The Royal Armouries said: "Here at the Armouries, we've been sent some great work by young historians using our Home Learning Hub.

"Here are some of our favourites. These two SOE applications from a couple of super-secret agents blew us away."
