Kiddieshack Nursery in Wishaw do their bit for this year's Children in Need by dressing in yellow

Staff and children at one Wishaw nursery tested themselves to the limit as they did their bit for Children in Need.

Youngsters at the Kiddieshack Nursery in Young Street took part in a sponsored row for the charity along with the nursery staff.

The children took it in turns on the rowing machine as they raised the cash.

Everyone enjoyed their day as they dressed in yellow just like Pudsey.

Kiddieshack’s fundraising total was added to the bumper total that schools and groups across the country contributed to the appeal.

People in Scotland have raised a total of £3.9 million for this year’s Children In Need TV appeal.

Across the UK a total of £47.9 million was raised by the end of the five-hour televised appeal night.
