Reality TV star and member of the Kardashian clan, Khloé Kardashian, has shared the reason why she hasn’t attended California’s iconic Coachella music festival in over a decade.
In the latest episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, the co-founder of Good American claimed that she hadn’t been to Coachella since 2016 after she was drugged at a party.
“I’ve gone once. It was many moons ago — I feel like 2016, or something like that,” she said, replying to a question asking if she’s ever been to the music and arts extravaganza.
“I got drugged without me knowing, but I think everyone knew.”
Khloé went on to explain that she was drinking a “juice” provided at the party, and that she was the only one who didn’t know that drugs were in it.
“There was this juice at this party we were at,” she continued.
“I think — I don’t think anyone drugged me, I just think I was the dumb one who didn’t realise everyone was on drugs, and I remember drinking this drink and just feeling really crazy and no one wants to feel like that and not know why.”
Khloé said as a result of the “juice” she locked herself in a bathroom “for hours”.
“I just didn’t realise what was happening until after it happened, like that I was on drugs and everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn’t get out of the bathroom, but I got scared,” she added.
“I was in my head. I was so scared,” Khloé continued.
“My experience was not good.”
While Khloé hasn’t indulged in the musical shebang in over a decade, her famous family members, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner have graced the lands of Coachella.
Just this year, both Kourtney hosted Camp Poosh, and Kendall had her 818 Tequila outpost. Kim was spotted alongside her new beau, Lewis Hamilton, and both Jenners were seen supporting Justin Bieber.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Khloé opened up about her infamous DUI arrest, confirming that Malika Haqq did her hair for the mugshot.
“For that mugshot, Malika did do my hair. She did a good job,” she shared.
Now, that’s a real friend.
