In a time where vegan sausage rolls, non-dairy milks and bleeding beetroot burgers are taking over restaurants, KFC have probably picked the worst time ever to launch their new, outrageously meaty burger.
But the famous chicken chain are giving it a go anyway, announcing that their new, limited edition, triple-stacked burger dubbed the 'I Love You Bacon', will officially launch next week.
Comprised of one succulent Original Recipe chicken fillet that's paired with two rashers of smoky, oven-cooked bacon either side, the stack is then topped with creamy Baconnaise and cushioned on a mouth-watering bed of sweet Bacon Lovers’ Relish. Double cheese and a brioche bun then complete the meaty masterpiece.
Set to launch in KFC restaurants all around the country on Bank Holiday Monday (6th May), it will only be around for six lone weeks, so you'll need to get a move on if you want to try it.
Setting you back £5.39 for the burger alone of £6.39 for a meal, you can also get it delivered straight to your door, as the KFC 'I Love Bacon' burger will be available for delivery exclusively on the Just Eat app.
