KFC Colonel Sanders tagged in Mansfield graffiti spree

The cheery face of KFC's Colonel Sanders has become one of the unfortunate victims of a graffiti spree in a Nottinghamshire town. Police are investigating a bout of illegal art that appeared across Mansfield between December 9 and 11.

A spray can was also taken to a sign for Aldi at Mansfield Leisure Park, as well as two other walls in the town. In a post on social media, Mansfield District Police said: "Graffiti is a criminal offence and the offender will be dealt with appropriately when found.

"The photos attached are a small minority of the multiple accounts of criminal damage which have been caused as a result of this tag. If you recognise this tag or have any information as to who the offender is, please forward all evidence and suggestions to PC 2388 MARSHALL kevin.marshall@notts.police.uk, any information given will remain entirely anonymous." The police didn't specify which KFC in the town had been targeted.
