Kevin Hart "needs" his wife because she is "the best".
The Ride Along actor will mark 10 years of marriage to wife Eniko - the mother of his younger children Kenzo, eight, and five-year-old Kaori - in August but believes it is important to celebrate their anniversary "through love" every day and he couldn't be happier that they have stayed together throughout their ups and downs.
Speaking at Netflix's The Roast of Kevin Hart, he told E! News his message to his "beautiful" wife would be: “I appreciate you, I value you, I love you.
“Also, I need you. You're the best.”
He added: “Anniversaries are celebrated through love daily. We're excited that we're still here, that we're still together, that we're still growing an amazing household and family.”
The 46-year-old star - who also has Heaven 21, and Hendrix, 18, with ex-wife Torrei - felt being the subject of the comedy roast was a perfect example of why his and Eniko's marriage works so well.
He said: “On a day like today, we look back and we laugh, because I continue to put myself in positions that better define the history attached to me as an artist, as an entertainer, that will also better define her word of support for a crazy person like myself.”
During the comedy special, retired quarterback Tom Brady - who was the subject of Netflix's last celebrity roast back in 2024 - made a surprise appearance to needle the Jumanji actor after he cheated on Eniko in Las Vegas when she was pregnant in 2017.
He quipped: “All right, this won’t take long, because, as you guys know, I’m a busy man.
“But I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas.
"Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. F*** it. I talked about it.”
Before Tom's appearance, Kevin promised his roast would be "way better" than when the NFL "b****" was roasted.
He said: “I’m gonna tell you right now, it’s gonna be way better than the Brady roast.
"The reason why is because I’m not a b****. Tom is a b****. Tom sat there the whole time with the f****** white man’s face…He was a f****** b****. I ain’t no b****. You bring whatever it is that you got. I could give two f****. You go and say what you want to say. Say it. I don’t give a s***. At the end of the day, I’m Kevin Hart. I’m the man.”
Tom then stepped out and said: “Jesus, do you ever shut the f*** up? Have you even left the Forum, or have you just been here screaming into that mic the last two years waiting for daddy to come home? Well, unlike your real dad, I actually showed up."
