Kerys Lynch missing: Police launch appeal for 13-year-old as family 'increasingly concerned'

The family of a missing 13-year-old are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about her welfare.

Kerys Lynch was last seen around 5.15pm on July 12 at the A70 near to Hyndford Road, Lanark.

Police in Lanark are appealing for assistance in tracing Kerys, saying that her current whereabouts are unknown and her friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned for her.

Kerys is described as being white female, slim/medium build, she has died red/black hair with blonde roots.

She was last seen wearing a Khaki green over sized T-shirt and light grey leggings.

Kerys is known to frequent Lanark, Irvine and other Ayrshire surrounding towns.

Police Sergeant Durie from Lanark Police station says "Kerys has been missing for a number of hours now. We have a number of Police resources out looking for her and I am now looking for the assistance from the public".
