Kerry Katona shares snaps with lookalike daughter after super glam makeover

Kerry Katona proved the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when she shared a snap of her and lookalike daughter Lilly-Sue.

The mother and daughter can be seen showing off the results of a super glam makeover with Kerry sporting some rather fabulous purple hair.

Lilly-Sue, 18, smiles proudly for the camera with her long blonde locks almost identical to those mum Kerry used to swish around in her Atomic Kitten days.

Taking to Instagram to thank her hairdressers for her transformation, Kerry said: "Got me a new hair do! I’d be lost without @thestyle_loungeae_ thank you ladies!!!!"

The mother-of-five recently will celebrate her 41st birthday next week and told fans: "Bloody 41 on Monday!! purple hair, don’t care."

The mother and daughter regular post pics together, with Lilly-Sue recently showing Love Island fans what they were missing after turning down an offer to go on the show.

The 18-year-old, who Kerry shares with singer Brian McFadden, looked sensational and so much like the former Atomic Kitten.

The teen showed off a summery green one-shoulder dress after telling all about her decision to say no to the ITV2 dating show.

Kerry was quick to comment on her upload, writing: "Absolutely stunning."

There were plenty of other replies, and Liberty X star Michelle Heaton said: "Jesus Lilly OMG."

Lilly's mum Kerry hit the headlines this week after revealing she felt humiliated after having to strip down to her knickers on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Who Dares Wins has returned to Channel 4 on Sundays at 9pm, with Kerry one of twelve well-known faces who put themselves in the running to pass SAS Selection.

However in one episode as Kerry walks onto the beach from the sea the mum-of five has to "strip in front of everybody."

"For me, it's a bit humiliating having to strip in front of everybody," the Atomic Kitten said.

"There’s a camera crew, loads of men, and they’re all looking at you.

"I kept my knickers on, I felt really uncomfortable straight away.

"But that's what this show is about, they want to strip you absolutely bare and then kind of build you back up again, I guess."

Kerry also revealed that she never fully grieved her former partner George Kay’s untimely death until she took part in the challenging show.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 40, faced heartache when her ex-husband tragically died in 2019 at the age of 39 after eating 'a large quantity of cocaine' at a Holiday Inn in Cheshire.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror about how her experience with Ant Middleton allowed her to move past her trauma, Kerry admitted that if she had never taken part in the show, she would wouldn't have been able to realise her "self worth."
