Kerry GAA announce homecoming details to celebrate All-Ireland victors

Kerry GAA have released the details surrounding tomorrow's homecoming celebrations for their senior men's footballers.

There'll be quite a party after quite a battle at Croke Park where Galway more than held their own right until the closing stages.

In a tweet this evening, Kerry GAA laid out the plan of action for tomorrow.

It said: "The victorious Kerry senior football team will return home by coach on Monday evening arriving in Tralee at approximately 5 pm.

"They will then make their way on an open deck bus from Boherbee to a 'Welcome Home' reception in Denny Street which is scheduled for 6 pm.

"Celebrations will commence in Tralee from 6 pm with live music on the Denny Street platform at 4.15 pm featuring Aftershock, Dreams of Freedom and DJ Big Jim.

"Following the celebrations in Tralee the team will then make its way to Killarney where the reception will take place at Fitzgerald stadium at 8 pm.

"Gates will open at 6 pm at the Lewis Road end of the ground only with entertainment being provided from 6:30 pm.

"Patrons will be accommodated on the pitch and terraces only - there is no access to the stand on the night as the event is a standing event only.

"No alcohol or glass bottles will be allowed.

"Car parking will be available in all public car parks in the town with special car parking facilities available in the cathedral field and in the rugby field off the bypass road.

"Wheelchair parking will be available in the Dr Crokes GAA grounds. Lewis Road will be closed to traffic from 5:30 pm.

"The Kerry team will then travel to the Gleneagle Hotel where the celebrations will continue with a victory disco for supporters.

"Patrons are requested to respect residents and their property and to obey the stewards in both locations."
