Kenan Thompson shares thoughts on abuse allegations at Nickelodeon.

Kenan Thompson recently discussed his experience as a child star at Nickelodeon in light of the release of the documentary series 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.' The series features allegations of abuse against crew members at the network, including producer Dan Schneider. Thompson, known for his roles in 'All That,' 'Kenan & Kel,' and 'Good Burger,' shared his thoughts during an interview on 'Tamron Hall.'

Thompson acknowledged that he has not watched 'Quiet on Set' and emphasized that the negative incidents occurred after his time at Nickelodeon. He expressed empathy for any victims and their families, stating, 'My heart goes out to anyone that's been victimized.' While recognizing the importance of shedding light on such issues for accountability, Thompson also highlighted his fond memories of working at Nickelodeon.

Regarding Nickelodeon's response to the allegations, Thompson urged for further investigations, emphasizing the importance of the network being a safe space for children. 'It's supposed to be a safe place for kids. So to hear all that is like, 'How dare you,'' he remarked.

'Quiet on Set' delves into the alleged mistreatment of child actors on Nickelodeon shows from the '90s and early '00s. The series recently announced an upcoming episode featuring interviews with various former cast members, including Drake Bell, Giovonnie Samuels, Bryan Hearne, and Shane Lyons.
