Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut peanut butter is now a thing - here's where you can buy it

Nut lovers and cereal fans, brace yourself: breakfast is about to hit a whole new level.

Kellogg’s has launched a new Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter and we don't know about you, but we think it sounds amazing.

The cereal-maker partnered with peanut butter manufacturer Duerr’s to create the spread after discovering from research that one in four homes across the UK had a box of Crunchy Nut in their cupboards.

The brand also learned that peanut butter was one of the most popular spreads.

The spread combines Crunchy Nut cereal with nut butter (Kellogg's)

Shoppers can pick up the new spread from Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, where it is exclusively sold for £2.50 a jar. We'd suggest getting your hands on a jar soon, as they're bound to sell out quickly.

The nutty treat is made using smooth peanut butter and crushed honey-roasted nuts, giving you a satisfying crunch with every bite. Sounds delicious!

Kate Stokes, senior brand manager at Kellogg’s UK said: "Since launching in 1980, the popularity of Crunchy Nut has grown and grown and it is regularly hailed as the UK’s favourite cereal.

"Knowing its popularity, we wanted to explore a new avenue and it’s been great to work with Duerr’s to bring the UK Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter. We hope that all of the Crunchy Nut fans out there are as excited as we are."

The new spread comes after chocolate giant Mars launched a new M&M’s Peanut Butter and Snickers Peanut Butter.

Priced at £2.50 each, they're exclusively available at B&M stores across the country.

But that's not all. Last year, Marmite sent shoppers wild when it revealed it would be launching a peanut-based version of its iconic spread.

The Marmite Smooth Peanut Butter hit UK stores earlier this year, much to the delight of Marmite fans.
