Keli Holiday Calls For Men To Love Loudly & Spills On Proposal Plans With Abbie Chatfield

Ever since Abbie Chatfield and Adam Hyde (who performs under Keli Holiday) hard-launched their relationship, the pair have become the embodiment of loving loudly.

In his most recent track “Dancing2” — which has sparked a whole TikTok trend — Holiday unpacks his love story with the beloved entertainment icon, as well as his push to get blokes to wear their heart on their sleeves.

For those who need a refresher on these two curly-headed love birds, the reality TV star announced her relationship with the Peking Duk member in June 2024.

“We’re so in love and we love talking about it,” Chatfield exclaimed during a special two-part episode of the It’s A Lot podcast, where she came clean about the new relationship.

Since then, the pair have proudly displayed their devotion for one another through various acts of love such as cutesy pics, saucy Instagram comments and sweet, sweet TikToks.

In a bold move of pure passion, Adam Hyde, as Keli Holiday, dropped “Dancing2”, a musical amalgamation of his love for Chatfield and how they united into one big force.

“I wrote it as a memento or a gift, for lack of a better word, and then once I got it to a place where I was comfortable with it, I presented it to her, and that was a beautiful moment. She wept and wept — in a very joyful way,” Holiday told PEDESTRIAN.TV.

“I’ve written a lot of songs for her and about her and to her, and most of them no one will ever hear. I think all of them, except for this one, pretty much.

“I remember really being like, ‘I love this woman so much. I find her admirable, to say the least. I really admire her, and I respect her, and I think about her all the time’, you know? And I wanted to give her something. I’m I don’t really have much to give apart from a song.”

For those who’ve yet to sink their teeth into the delectable delight that’s “Dancing2”, Holiday utilises hypnotic, pop-funk rhythms and dramatic strings to emphasise the raw emotion he has for Chatfield and the growth of their love.

“It takes 28 years just to figure it out / 28 ways just to let it out,” he sings in the bridge, making a nod to the first time they met in 2022.

With such strong lyrics, it’s without a doubt that loving loudly is truly in Holiday’s blood.

Keli Holiday urges men to love loudly and proudly

In a society where it is apparent that men shy away from showing affection for a variety of reasons, such as homosociality, Holiday’s “Dancing2” encourages men to embrace affection and love.

Reflecting on how his track has encouraged folks to love loudly, Holiday stressed the belief that every man should be celebrating their partner and being a proud lover.

“I’m yet to meet a woman who doesn’t celebrate their partner,” Holiday shared.

“I’ve met a lot of men who don’t celebrate their partner, and I think, you know, the era I grew up in, I didn’t see dudes posting about their girlfriends. I think it’s quite an old-fashioned mentality.”

“There’s still so many dudes out there that are coy about talking about their missus, it’s like grow the fuck up dog.” Keli Holiday’s new track ‘Dancing2’ is a dedication to his girlfriend Abbie Chatfield and an ode to loving loudly. In true rockstar style, Holiday went on to add that blokes who are “scared” are “wasting time” with themselves and their partner.

“You’re spending so much time with this person and you don’t celebrate them, you don’t big them up, you don’t admire them. What the fuck you doing?”, Holiday questioned.

“You’re a fucking loser if you do that because you’re just wasting your time, and you’re wasting their time. Or [if] you’re just fucking scared of what other dudes might think, which is even more pussy or worse. It’s like you’re just fucking sad in a void.

“Love is the only game in town — it’s the oldest game in town, and it’s the most important fucking game. No one’s mastered that enterprise at all, and we never will. It’s a mystery.

“But if you have it, and you’re lucky enough to experience it, you need to fucking champion it, you need to admire and you need to respect it.”

Holiday added that men shouldn’t be afraid to “wear your heart on your sleeve”, ‘cos once you blokes give it crack, he guarantees that “you’re going to feel better”.

Alongside his staunch stance on the importance of men loving loudly, his track, “Dancing2”, has sparked a movement for couples to celebrate their love.

Following the release of the song, heaps of folks have used it on TikTok to share their own personal love stories, and it’s not just romantic love, but also self-love, platonic and love for life.

To put it simply, Holiday unleashed a hot load of love on the feed with “Dancing2”.

With the topic of love on the brain, we of course had to dive into what’s next for Australia’s golden couple.

Keli Holiday spills on engagement plans with Abbie Chatfield

Of course, with the world foaming at the mouth over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s recent engagement, we had to ask Mr. Holiday if he had any engagement plans in the near future.

In a cheeky mammoth tea spill, Holiday expressed that “every day [he and Chatfield] are proposing” and that a cheeky rock on the ring finger is on the horizon. However, they’re “not in that zone yet”.

“I think it’ll happen. I don’t know when. Though if I told you that, I’d have to burn the fucking building,” he joked.

While he held on tight to the details of when, he did reveal how he would pop the question… and let’s just say we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any Jamaica photo dumps.

“Let’s say we do it in Jamaica, and we do it on the beach, and there’d be break dances everywhere, and fireworks and Austin Powers impersonators that had really hit my G sport, and I’m sure it would hers too,” he laughed.

As we speak, I am currently perfecting my Austin Powers impression, just so I can be hired by Holiday for when he decides to take Chatfield on that next dance.
