Alright, TV lovers, pop some popcorn and text the group chat because the 2025 TV WEEK Logie Awards are nearly here. Whether you’re in it for the Gold Logie drama, red carpet looks, or Jimmy Barnes cranking out a banger, here’s your guide to what’s happening, how to watch, and how to make your vote count.
When is the 2025 Logies?
Easy one: This year’s Logies hit The Star Sydney on Sunday, 3 August 2025. Not on the guest list? No dramas. Catch all the action live from 7pm AEST on Channel 7 and streaming on 7plus — comfy pants encouraged but not required.
2025 Logie Awards Gold Logie Nominees: Who is up for the top prize?
The Gold Logie is the big-ticket award and always fuels the group chat. Contenders this year are Lynne McGranger, Lisa Millar, Ally Langdon, Sonia Kruger, Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, and Poh Ling Yeow.
Hamish Blake told 9 Entertainment in June that he recommends fans don’t vote for him. “Hi Hamish Blake here, and as you know I’m the only guy in the running and therefore it would not be a great look if I won,” he said.
“So just organise, figure out your favourite lady and get right behind her.”

How to vote for the Logies 2025?
Yep, that’s right you can still vote! Just head to the official Logies website, no epic sign-up required — one vote per category, so make it count. Here’s the lowdown on closing times:
Gold Logie: vote up to 10:30pm (AEST), 3 August
Most Popular Presenter, New Talent, and News/Public Affairs Reporter: until 7:30pm (AEST), 3 August
Other categories: voting has closed (maybe try a vision board for next year?)
You can check out the complete list of Logies nominees HERE.
Who will host and present at the Logies 2025?
Sam Pang is back for hosting duties again — third year in a row — and this time he is warning people to brace themselves. “If someone gives me the stink eye, it’s more about them,” Pang said on the Fifi, Fev & Nick radio show this week.
In terms of presenters, if you love local telly, you’ll recognise these stars: Hamish Blake, Kitty Flanagan, Leigh Sales, Sophie Monk, Tom Gleeson, Michael Theo, Manu Feildel, Larry Emdur, Rebecca Gibney, Zan Rowe, and heaps more.
Who’s performing at the Logies Awards 2025?
Jimmy Barnes is pencilled in to light up the night with live music. In his official media statement, Jimmy shared:
“I am excited about playing at the Logies, television’s big night of nights. It will be great to celebrate all the fantastic talent we have in Australian television, and to play some rock’n’roll music to get the party jumping.”

New for 2025: The Ray Martin Award at the Logies
Marking the 65th anniversary of the Logies, there’s a shiny new trophy: The Ray Martin Award for Most Popular News or Public Affairs Reporter.
It’s named after the legend himself — Ray Martin — with five Gold Logies to his name and presenting the award on the big night.
Where to watch the 2025 Logies?
To sum up: The Logie Awards 2025 air Sunday, 3 August, live from The Star Sydney. Catch the broadcast on Channel 7 or stream it on 7plus from 7pm AEST. Voting for the headline categories is still open — so don’t miss out! With Sam Pang hosting and Jimmy Barnes on stage, your night’s sorted for Aussie TV’s night of nights.
