Kaz Crossley seen for the first time since drug arrest as she returns to work

Kaz Crossley has surfaced for the first time since she was reportedly freed from her Dubai prison cell after being arrested on suspicion of drug offences on Monday.

The former Love Island star was arrested at Abu Dhabi airport while in transit for a flight to Thailand after being flagged up to United Arab Emirates authorities, who are reportedly investigating a video of the Love Island star snorting a white substance in 2020.

After the 'ordeal' the 27-year-old got stuck straight back into work running her Muay Thai fitness classes in London on Sunday.

Kaz got involved with a beginner’s class and posted snap on her Combat Collective fitness social media page as she posed alongside the group.

The former reality star beamed as she posed with the group in a black sports bra and leggings following the Muay Thai session – which she’s previously described as being her “therapy”.

The caption read: “Our beginners Muay Thai program of 2023 kicked off today with our amazing new coaches @emmakingsleyldn @claudiaharrington__ @teamtieuofficial

“We also have open level running in @gymboxofficial on different days and locations led by @floattuss & @elenacresci.

“Loving the energy and new faces!”

Kaz’s representatives confirmed on Friday that she was set to be released from prison after spending four days behind bars.

"Kaz has fully cooperated with officials and is free to continue her journey," the representatives said.

“Kaz was travelling through Abu Dhabi on her way to Thailand, where she was stopped by UAE police and taken in for questioning in relation to a matter that is not directly related to her but officials felt she could assist in their enquiries," they told The Sun.

Mirror Online previously contacted a representative of Kaz for comment on the reports.

Kaz finished third on Love Island in 2018 with Josh Denzel, who she subsequently split from, and is set to feature on Channel 5's The Challenge.

The reality star and social media influencer was on route to Thailand to take part in voluntary work.

A source said: "She was looking forward to getting back to Thailand where she has been doing voluntary work and all of a sudden she is languishing in a Dubai jail.

"She had only stopped off in Abu Dhabi to catch a connecting flight but her name has obviously raised a red flag."

The source claimed Kaz was "allowed to send one email and wasn't even allowed to make a phone call".

“She messaged one particular friend whose email she could remember and asked her to inform her family that she was OK but had been arrested for drugs offences. The arrest wasn’t because of anything she had on her. As far as we know it is all down to that video," the source told The Sun.

The video clip in question shows Kaz in an orange dress leaning over a table where lines of a white substance are laid out and was shot during lockdown when influencers flew to Dubai to escape Covid restrictions in the UK.

According to drug laws in Dubai, first-time offenders face a minimum of three months in prison and a fine between £4,559 (AED 20,000) and £22,799 (AED 100,000).
