Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have broken their silence on their unfortunate breakup in a joint statement and ooft, looks like the rumours really were true. These two are officially O-V-A-H, OVAH!
The statement, which was shared in tandem to Us Weekly, goes as follows: “Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Following weeks upon weeks of rumours, an insider confirmed the news last week in a statement to Us Weekly (those guys always have the tea!!).
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source close to the pair told the all-knowing mag.
“It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
Interestingly, this statement coincided with Orlando’s surprise trip Down Under, where Katy was currently visiting as part of her Lifetimes Tour (and dropping hint after hint that their relationship was donezo).
Adding fuel to the fire, the pair were not photographed together AT ALL during the visit, and shortly after, Orlando yeeted to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s big Venice wedding where he was “psyched to let loose”.
Meanwhile another source told Page Six the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was recently in Florida, flirting up a storm.
“Orlando was definitely with girls in Miami,” the source claimed.
“He’s been not subtly out and about,” according to the sneaky source, who described Bloom’s flirting as “unapologetic”. Yowza!
The flirty vibes of the recently single actor have been quite the news item lately, with none other than Kim Kardashian even becoming swept up in the story.
The pair share a four-year-old daughter named Daisy, whom they welcomed in August 2020.
