In what will be their first-ever Australian visit, iconic girl group KATSEYE has just announced a fast-approaching appearance slated for Sydney. This is not a drill!

The Grammy-nominated group will be heading Down Under for an exclusive fan Q&A experience on May 6, fresh off their debut set at Coachella last weekend.

Details about the venue have not yet been revealed, but fans can nab a spot at KATSEYE’s Sydney event by entering the draw HERE and pre-ordering their new EP WILD HERE.

Part of the draw includes the chance to win flight tickets and accommodation, so this experience is for KATSEYE fans across the country! Universal Music Australia teased KATSEYE’s upcoming Sydney appearance on social media earlier this week, asking fans if they were “ready to put your PINKY UP” on top of an outline of Australia.

The announcement of KATSEYE’s Sydney appearance coincides with the reveal of the group’s brand new project, a follow-up to their debut 2025 EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.

WILD has already been previewed by the single PINKY UP (hence the tease), which landed earlier this month and gives us a taste of what’s to come in the EP. A press release describes the new project as “open, boundless, and entirely KATSEYE’s own,” so consider that a promise.

KATSEYE’s Aussie visit comes off the back of a bustling few months for the group, following a performance at the Grammys in February in the Best New Artist category and a minor change in their lineup.

Group member Manon announced in February that she was taking a brief hiatus from KATSEYE to focus on her health.

She did join the group on stage at the Grammys but was missing from their Coachella set. The rest of the gals said in a recent Apple Music interview that Manon is “our sister forever”.

“We love her so much. We built this together. We just want to give her all the space,” bandmate Sophia said.

We’ll be sure to update you with any more details about KATSEYE’s Aussie visit when they arise, but in the meantime, good luck entering the draw!
