Katie Price winces in fear as she battles needle phobia to get Covid booster jab

Katie Price had to battle her fear of needles while getting her Covid-19 booster vaccine.

The former glamour model, 43, winced and had her hands over her face in the video she shared with fans.

She assumed the vaccination process would have been worse as the star was shocked by how quick the entire ordeal was.

"That's it, you are done," the person administering her jab told her as she winced in her seat.

Surprised, Katie responded: "Oh thank you – is that it?! Was that it?!" before turning to the camera and laughing.

The mum-of-five captioned the post: "Got my booster today! I hate needles," along with a few laughing emojis.

Katie has always urged people to get their vaccines despite her fear and her son Harvey's rare reaction to it.

Earlier this year, when Harvey received his first jab and developed a fever, Katie told everyone the importance of the jab.

She told The Sun : "I am in awe of the NHS - they are amazing, without them Harvey would not be here today.

"I don't want anyone worrying about him as he’s fine now at home eating carrot cake. Despite Harvey's reaction, he is one of a kind, the Covid jab is so important especially for those in high-risk categories.

"I am so much happier in the knowledge Harvey is safer now he has had his."

Katie receiving her booster jab comes as the children she shares with Peter Andre - Junior and Princess - jetted off to Dubai with their dad.

The jet-setting teens landed in the popular holiday destination earlier this week and wasted little time taking in their new surroundings.

Although they will be enjoying the sights and the sun, there seems to be some hard work that needs to be done.

Junior headed straight to the studio ahead of what the 16-year-old hopes is a huge year in his music career.

Working alongside music producer Ayo Beatz, they are gearing up for a big launch in 2022 after he landed a massive chance in the industry after landing a deal with Columbia Records.

Producer Ayo - who has worked with Wes Nelson and Clean Bandit - was over the moon to see the aspiring musician and shared a clip of them at the studio.

Meanwhile, Princess, 14, was all about the sights Dubai has to offer and posed for a photo in front of the Burj Khalifa.
