Katie Price says she has 'life changing injuries' after proving people wrong in video

Katie Price has revealed she has "life-changing injuries" after breaking both her ankles while on holiday.

The glamour model confirmed she had broken both her feet and ankles in a post on Instagram last month.

The mother-of-five, 42, was in Turkey on holiday with her boyfriend Carl Woods and two of her children, Junior and Princess, when she had a fall at a theme park.

She has now returned home and undergone some treatment.

The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins contestant has kept fans updated following her accident but recently hit back at people who "don't believe her".

In a video on her Instagram stories, Katie showed glitter being applied to her leg casts.

She said: "Look at that glitter on that foot - the foot that no one believes is broken.

"Can you believe no one believes I've broken my feet and ankles?"

In a caption written over the video, Katie said: "My new colourful casts despite people not believing I've really broken my feet

"I really have life changing injuries".

Shortly after her accident, the star issued a plea to her fans for help in locating a wheelchair and mobility scooter after doctors confirmed she won't be able to walk for three to six months.

Sitting in a wheelchair, she addressed her 2.3 million Instagram followers and said: "Hi guys, does anybody know or can someone get in contact, where I can hire a mobility scooter and a wheelchair that I can use for when I get back because I'm not going to be able to walk?

"Doctors have confirmed three to six months or it could be longer, so I need get round on a mobility scooter and wheelchair.

"Let me know - inbox me. Thank you."

It is believed Katie will also need to have pins in her feet to help her recover.
