Katie Price's son Harvey nominated for gong after eye-opening documentary touched nation

Harvey Price has been nominated for a gong after his hard-hitting BBC documentary with mum Katie touched hearts of the nation.

The 18-year-old son of former glamour model Katie, who is partially blind, as well as autistic and suffers with Prader-Willi syndrome, has been shortlisted for a Celebrity of the Year Award at the National Diversity Awards.

Anna Kennedy OBE shared the exciting announcement on her Instagram page, tagging Harvey and his mum.

"Congratulations our #Antibullying Charity Ambassador @officialmrharveyprice Go Harvey Good Luck @ndawards," she wrote.

She founded autism charity Anna Kennedy Online, which Harvey is an ambassador for.

Rooting for her son, Katie shared the post on her own Story.

The ceremony will take place in February 2022, where winners will be announced.

It comes after the mum-of-five appeared in documentary Katie Price : Harvey & Me back in January, which shed light on her day-to-day parenting of eldest child Harvey.

The eye-opening documentary saw Katie and Harvey looking to the next stage of his life as he turned 18 - meaning he'd be moving to college, which is an emotional milestone for both mother and son.

Since the doc first aired, Harvey landed his own reality show with his childhood best friend Zack.

Harvey and Zack will delve deep into the world of trains, which they both love and often talked about in the show.

The BBC are reportedly eager to get Harvey his own reality show, which is said to be titled Harvey Price: The Adventures of Harvey and Zack.

A source told The Sun : "The plan is to follow the friends and film their experiences together.

"It will also raise awareness and give hope to kids with disabilities. It's a positive and inclusive move. They get on really well together and enjoy being on camera."
