Katie Price's next TV show will 'document surrogacy journey' as she tries for sixth baby

Katie Price is reportedly gearing up to showcase her surrogacy journey on a brand new TV show.

The former glamour model, 45, has made no secret in recent years that she's keen to have a sixth kid with her on-off partner Carl Woods. The couple started dating in 2020, before getting engaged the following year, but have split and got back together multiple times since.

Katie is a mum of five, sharing 20-year-old Harvey with Dwight Yorke. She and Peter Andre have two children - Junior, 17, and Princess, 15. Her youngest - Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight - are shared with Kieran Hayler.

Speaking of the exciting TV development, a source told The Sun: "Katie is thrilled to be embarking on this journey. She loves babies and has made no secret of the fact she has wanted another one for ages.

"She had difficult pregnancies with Bunny and Jett, and struggled to get pregnant again when she was trying with Carl last year."

The insider added: "Katie will capture the highs and lows of her surrogacy journey on camera, and she knows her fans will want to see it all.

"She's desperate for her kids to have a new brother or sister."

Katie has previously admitted that she had been "trying to get pregnant for ages" and despite not having much luck in conceiving, she was open to IVF or surrogacy.

The former model told The Sun in 2021: “We’re going to call the baby Miracle. I’m doing this for my mum. She told me to have IVF so she can see us have kids. It will break my heart if she can’t.”

She also said in an interview with Netmums in 2020: "I am trying (to get pregnant)! If not, I would do a surrogate - obviously with Carl’s bits and my bits. IVF is another option we're looking at because we have been trying for ages and it's just not happening, so we have gone down the IVF route.”

Speaking more recently on a podcast, Katie admitted that surrogacy would be the best option for her much wanted sixth child. "I have got a surrogate, I haven’t got any eggs anymore, I’m 44, I want another baby so what am I supposed to do? I can’t pop it out," she told the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast.

Host Lewis Raymond Taylor wondered who would be having the baby, and Katie revealed she has a fan on board. She added: "I have got this lady, it will be my egg – she’s been a fan of mine for years and she does do surrogacy."
