Katie Price documentary update as ex-husbands weigh involvement amid Peter Andre row

Katie Price’s turbulent personal life is set to be laid bare in a major new Sky documentary and two of her former husbands look likely to take part.

The three-part series, produced by Louis Theroux’s company Mindhouse, will chart Price’s dramatic rise from glamour model to tabloid mainstay. It is expected to include unseen archive material and interviews with key figures from her past, and is likely to coincide with the 30th anniversary of her debut as a Page 3 model in The Sun in 1996.

All three of Price’s ex-husbands have been approached. While Peter Andre is widely tipped to decline, both Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler are now understood to be considering appearing, despite initially exploring legal action to block the project.

A TV insider told The Sun: “The feeling was that if they couldn’t stop the documentary happening they could at least influence it by appearing and giving their version of events — as Katie will unquestionably deliver hers. Nothing is agreed yet, but the sense is this will be a credible, objective look at Katie’s life and it’s worth being a part of.”

Price, 47, married singer Andre in 2005, with whom she shares children Junior, 20, and Princess, 18. The pair divorced four years later. She wed cage fighter Reid in 2010, divorcing the following year, before tying the knot with Hayler in 2013. They share children Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, but divorced in 2021.

The documentary news comes as Price and Andre’s long-running feud resurfaced publicly. Last month Andre, 51, issued a rare statement on Instagram accusing his ex-wife of spreading “lies” about their children’s welfare and living arrangements, claiming he had been forced to “set the record straight” after years of staying silent.

Price has since hit back with her own lengthy Instagram post, admitting past mistakes but rejecting what she described as “fake Saints” who project perfect images. “I know I will always be seen as a Sinner,” she wrote, acknowledging her struggles with addiction, infidelity and mental health. “Sometimes I tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded. I’ve pulled myself out of a suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them.”

She added: “Some Saints are genuine and some have helped me. But some Saints are not who they would have you believe they are. They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain.”

The pair remain estranged, with tensions heightened earlier this year when Price was left off the guest list for Princess’s 18th birthday party.
