Peter Andre hits out at ex Katie Price’s ‘lies’ in furious social media rant amid Princess feud

Peter Andre has hit out at his ex-wife Katie Price and slammed her 'lies' in a angry social media post about their fallout over daughter Princess.

The Mysterious Girl singer lashed out on Instagram just hours after Price said she urged her ex-husband to sit down with her and “hash things out” in a bid to end their long-running feud for thake of their daughter, 18.

He wrote: “For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating."

He continued: “That ends today.”

“The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.

“For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.

“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management.

“The same falsehoods are being repeated today."

He concluded: “Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months.”

The former couple, who divorced in 2009 after a highly acrimonious split, are not on speaking terms, with Price, 47, having publicly criticised Andre, 51, numerous times over the years.

Tensions deepened after she was left off the guest list for Princess’s milestone 18th birthday party in June, reportedly because filming for the teen’s ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries was taking place and Price had been banned from appearing on it.

Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, the mother-of-five insisted she is a “bloody good mum” and wants to attend Princess’s public appearances, even if she is not filmed.

“There’s no reason why both parents can’t support her,” she said. “It’s so not fair to bring Princess piggy in the middle… For the sake of the children, there’s room for everyone.”

Price stressed she and Princess remain close, speaking daily, but admitted she feels she has “missed out on so much” and believes “it’s about time all of us adults sit down and talk.”

The reality star shares Princess and son Junior, 20, with Andre, along with son Harvey, 22, from a previous relationship, and children Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, with third husband Kieran Hayler.

Meanwhile, Hayler, 37, has publicly apologised to Princess over the affairs that ended his marriage to Price, admitting the split had a “devastating” impact on her childhood.

The pair were married from 2013 until 2021, during which Hayler lived with Princess and Junior. He told MailOnline: “I’ll always feel sad that Princess had to witness such a horrible separation… I am as sorry as I can be.”

Hayler admitted his infidelity with Price’s former best friend Jane Pountney and their ex-nanny Nikki Brown caused “lasting damage,” adding: “Whenever any marriage breaks down and one parent has to leave the house, it rocks those children’s worlds.”

In the debut episode of The Princess Diaries, Princess said she wished she had “a more happier childhood,” recalling her mother’s “very dark time” after the split, when Price struggled with drug use, PTSD and a suicide attempt.
