Katie Price has spoken out following speculation of a rift between her and her daughter Princess Andre, saying she has been left "very, very upset" after being excluded from the teengager’s new reality series The Princess Diaries.
The 47-year-old former glamour model, who shares 18-year-old Princess with ex-husband Peter Andre, revealed she was not invited to take part in her daughter’s upcoming show and says she was even told she wasn’t welcome at any promotional events.
Speaking candidly on the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast – titled The Truth Behind Princess Diaries – Price criticised Princess’ management team and accused them of sidelining her from her daughter's burgeoning career in the spotlight.
“I’m very, very upset,” she said. “I wasn’t asked to look at any contracts, I don’t know what Princess has signed because it’s all to do with that side. I offered to do the show for free and they still said no.”
The reality show, which is set to air this Sunday, follows Princess as she takes her first major steps into showbiz. However, Price claims she’s been deliberately excluded from Princess’ work, despite her decades-long experience in the industry.

Price went on to criticise The CAN Group – the management company now representing both Princess and her brother Junior – which formerly represented her during her marriage to Australian singer-turned-actor Andre.
She claimed: “I’ve always said, over my dead body would I want her [Emily, Peter’s wife] managing my kids. She doesn’t like me and me and Pete don’t talk.”
She added: “Princess signed with them when she was 16. I wasn't consulted. I feel very disrespected as a mum. Princess is following in my footsteps, and while I absolutely adore that, I haven’t been allowed to attend any shoots, signings or Superdrug appearances. Why? Because I’m not welcome.”
Despite the professional tensions, Katie insisted her personal relationship with her daughter remains strong. “We’ve never had an argument, not even a disagreement. We get on like best friends. She lives with me and stays at her dad’s when filming. Our personal life together is amazing.”
Price also revealed that she was not invited to Princess’ recent 18th birthday celebrations, which were organised by Peter. Instead, Katie flew to Ibiza, saying she wanted to avoid having the event “rubbed in her face”.

“The reason is because Pete doesn’t want to be in the same room as me because I’m his ex,” she explained.
“But we need some home truths here. When the kids grow up and get married, is he still going to have the attitude that only one parent can be there? Because I disagree.”
While in Ibiza, Price said she had an emotional encounter with a producer from Princess’ show.
“I walked into a bar and someone from the show came up to me. I just burst out crying. I said, ‘I’m so upset. It’s my daughter and I want to be involved.’ I never cry, but I did then. That producer knows.”
Although she’s made it clear she won’t be watching or promoting the show, Price said she still supports her daughter unconditionally.
She added: “I want the best for Junior and Princess always. I’ll never get in the way of that. I just want to be part of their journey.”
