Kate Moss 'lined up for docuseries' after Netflix's success with the Beckhams

Kate Moss could be the subject of a new Netflix docuseries

Kate Moss is reportedly being lined up for a Netflix documentary.

A production company is offering a series about the fashion icon to tie into the 35th anniversary of her famous 1992 Calvin Klein adverts, and it's said the global streamer is interested after already working on docuseries about the likes of Kylie Minogue, and Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham.

A source told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "Although she is known for her ‘Never complain, never explain’ approach to life, there are signs that she might now be willing to discuss her life in a way she never has before.

“Getting Kate on board would make a huge difference to the streamers and probably spark a bidding war, if it came to fruition."

However, the insider noted "it’s a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation", where getting Kate to sign up could be "dependent on someone like Netflix saying it is interested first".

The source added: "There is a will among producers, however. No, they’re desperate to find a way to make it happen.

“They are hoping that seeing the likes of David Beckham, Kylie, Victoria Beckham and Gordon Ramsay fronting big TV autobiographies will be persuasive.”

Earlier this year, Kate's daughter Lila, 23, paid a loving tribute to her famous mother on her 52nd birthday, January 16.

Lila shared a throwback photo of herself as a tot with Kate in the garden.

She captioned the post: "Happy birthday mummy!!! I love you the mostest (sic)."

Kate was one of the most recognisable faces of the 1990s, strutting her stuff on the runway at prestigious shows, as well as gracing the covers of magazines, but she has not always been true to herself.

Asked if she had in 2022, Kate told the Evening Standard: "No. But I am now. I’m now in charge of my career. I’m allowed to have an opinion. It used to be that I didn’t know what we were shooting until I turned up on set.

"Now I know exactly what I’m doing when I turn up on the day. I know who’s doing hair and make-up, who I’m working with."
