Kate Middleton's uncle calls Prince Harry and Meghan ‘muppets' and says 'shut the F up'

Kate Middleton's uncle has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - telling them to "shut the F up" in a scathing online rant.

Gary Goldsmith branded the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "muppets craving attention" and told them to stop interfering in British politics from the US, where they now live.

Mr Goldsmith is Kate’s mother Carole Middleton's brother, and is reportedly self-isolating at home after returning from a holiday in Ibiza.

He was responding to Prince Harry and Meghan's earlier interview over Zoom with the Evening Standard.

The pair, who gave up their royal duties earlier this year, discussed Black History Month and Harry admitted to having white privilege.

The televised interview from their Los Angeles mansion, seemed to annoy Mr Goldsmith, who took to LinkedIn to post his remarks.

He said: "With so much stuff going on in the world, still these two muppets are craving attention.

"Please shut the F up and bring up their child and stop talking, let alone demanding.

"Harry you have lost our love and respect.

"Meghan you are a wrong'n.

"Now hush please we are kinda busy saving lives and an economy."

The post was later deleted, but Mr Goldsmith says he stands by his comments.

Speaking to the Daily Mail he said: "‘I used to have a lot of respect for Harry and his army career but this new Harry is someone I don’t recognise.

"I find it totally frustrating when we are trying to save lives and look after UK PLC, to be lectured daily on any topic they deem to be important. They have abdicated the UK for the US and obviously don’t give a damn about the Royal family.

"We’ve all had enough of them lecturing us. You can’t sell your soul to Netflix for a reported £150 million and then dictate to Mother England."

Buckingham Palace has been approached for comment
