Kate Middleton's startling admission about stunning photos she takes of her children

Her busy royal schedule and life as a mum might not leave the Princess of Wales with much time for hobbies.

But one pastime that she appears to always make time for is photography - with royal fans now expecting to see beautiful pictures snapped by Kate herself. In fact, it has become something of a tradition for her to release her own photos to mark big occasions.

On the birthdays of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, she nearly always shares new pictures snapped with her own camera - and last year even photographed Queen Camilla for the cover of Country Life magazine.

But despite winning plaudits for her photography work, there are some who often get tired of her constant photo-taking - her own children. That's because it appears that George, Charlotte and Louis aren't always keen on having their picture taken, as Kate once revealed.

During a phone call with a finalist in her Hold Still photography contest in 2021, which was Kate asked if the contestant considered herself a photographer. The contestant said: "No. Well, Mark [her husband] would say otherwise just because I do take a lot of pictures of the family." To which Kate replied: "It's like me. Everyone's like: 'Mummy, please stop taking photographs!'"

It's been a busy week for Kate as she spent most of Tuesday at Wimbledon, where she cheered on British hopeful Katie Boulter and paid tribute to retiring Wimbledon champion Roger Federer. On Wednesday, she and Prince William were both in Edinburgh, where they supported King Charles and Queen Camilla at the monarch's Scottish Coronation celebrations.

Kate looked stunning in a Catherine Walker coat dress she's worn several times - including at Easter this year, an intricate Philip Treacy hat and a necklace from the late Queen's collection. William wore his RAF No.1 Uniform with his Order of the Thistle mantle.

They took part in the procession into and out of the cathedral and sat alongside Charles and Camilla as they enjoyed the rousing musical performances and readings. The couple were referred to by their new little-known titles during the service, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the pair made a second joint outing with a proud Kate kissing her husband as she congratulated him for taking to the polo field for an important charity contest. The couple were at Guards Polo Club near Windsor for the Outsourcing Inc. Royal Polo Cup, where they hoped to raise £1million in aid of 11 different charities close to their hearts.

As they arrived at the club, the couple met with friends, including jockey Frankie Dettori and William's cousin Peter Phillips as well as representatives from the charities benefitting from the day. At one point Kate could be seen proudly gazing at her husband and enjoying a glass of bubbles, before lending encouragement to the players.

The princess opted for a £550 baby blue midi dress from designer Beulah and looked relaxed as she wore her long, dark hair around her shoulders and donned sunglasses.
