Kate Middleton prepares Chelsea Flower Show garden in new images before big reveal

Kate Middleton is set to reveal her gardening talents in just a week's time.

But for now, Royal watchers and the green-thumbed will have to make do with a teaser.

The previously unseen pictures chart Kate working on her Chelsea Flower Show designs and show the Duchess adding her Royal touch, crouching amid what appears to be lush green fern fronds.

The royal is creating a 'Back to Nature' Garden theme for the popular event in a coup for the garden show said to be behind a surge in its popularity this year, according to the Times .

The newspaper reports that black market ticket prices for the London show have soared to nearly £500 apiece after it sold out all 168,000 tickets with one week to go.

Prince Harry to leave Meghan Markle and Archie at home again for second overseas trip since birth

Tickets reportedly began flying out the door after Kensington Palace announced the Duchess would be involved, after it failed to sell out even by opening day last spring.

The Duchess of Cambridge's Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) 'Back to Nature' themed garden was designed by Kate Middleton herself along with leading landscape architecture firm Davies and White, led by Andrée Davies and Adam White.

The Kensington Royal Instagram account offered a sneak peek at the Duchess' handiwork today- and the result looks like the mother-of-three has in mind a green environment kids will love adventuring in.

In the pictures, the royal can be seen chatting to the landscape designers and referencing blueprints and sketches as they plot out the garden.

The royal account revealed Kate had been visiting plant nurseries, suppliers, and specialist craftspeople as they built and grew the woodland sanctuary.

One image appears to show a grotto for children to play in, with a tee-pee like hut fashioned from sticks, a boardwalk, and even a treehouse with a swing.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'not releasing official royal baby merchandise'

"The Duchess has worked with  @the_rhs  and Davies White to design and build the garden, to highlight how being active in nature can positively impact our physical and mental health," Kensington Royal's post said.

"The garden has a natural woodland feel and contains lots of unique design features to inspire families to get outside and explore nature together."
