Kate Middleton finally addresses pregnancy rumours when asked about 'baby number 4'

Kate Middleton has given a cryptic response to one of the questions she get asked most - is there another royal baby on the way?

The Duchess' youngest child, Prince Louis, is less than a year old, but royal fans are always curious about whether a brother or sister could be on the horizon to join him, George and Charlotte.

Asked by the crowd at a St Patrick's Day parade in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, if the Cambridge clan is set to rise to six members, she had a quick response.

Kate responded to shouts of "number four?", the Daily Express reports.

She said: "I think William would be little worried!”

She did not elaborate on what she meant - but maybe three sets of pattering tiny feet is enough for he Prince at the moment?

But she had told one member of the crowd, who was there with his five month old son that she felt "broody", sparking some rumours she might be pregnant.

And look away William, bookies promptly slashed the odds of a fourth Cambridge child.

There is one royal baby due next month, however, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's firstborn due in late April.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to move into a new home in Windsor next month.

Harry and Meghan are now expecting to receive the keys next month after delays to work to restore the listed Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

They were hoping to be living there last week but work has fallen behind due to the number of alterations made during the £3million makeover.

A source close to the couple told The Sun builders have been working all week to make the changes.

"It’s been all hands to the pump. The builders have worked all week whatever the weather . But they keep making changes, particularly on the layout.

"The word is they’ve been quite demanding, which is understandable as what homeowner doesn’t want their house to be perfect?"

The Sun reports they are hoping to move in the week before the baby is due but are pleased with the works taking place despite running behind schedule.

Several interior walls have been demolished inside the Grade II listed building, formerly split into five apartments used as staff quarters.

The amendments mean the house will have five massive en suite bedrooms.
