Most parents feel the pressure of picking the perfect name for their newborn when they arrive.
And for the Prince and Princess of Wales, not only did they have to pick a name fitting for their firstborn son - but also one for a future King.
It was almost 10 years ago that they welcomed their eldest child Prince George and the world waited with bated breath for what they decided to call him.
But it seems like many new parents, they struggled at first to find the perfect name for their little boy.
However, it seems they came up with an unconventional solution to their dilemma thanks to the help of their pet dog at the time, Lupo.
According to The Times, the couple reportedly wrote all the possible names on scraps of paper and put them on the floor of their home.
They then let the English cocker spaniel in to see which piece of paper he went over to - and he picked George.
Prince William and Kate welcomed Lupo into their home in 2012 - and he appeared in many of the family's official photos before he passed away.
After saying their goodbyes to Lupo, the royal couple welcomed a new cocker spaniel puppy into their lives.
Adopted from Kate's brother, James Middleton, the dog, named Orla, has been growing up alongside their three children George and younger siblings Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
This weekend George, Charlotte and Louis will be appearing at one of the big royal events of the year - Trooping the Colour.
The annual event has marked the official birthday of the Sovereign for more than 260 years.
King Charles will take the salute as Colonel in Chief of the seven regiments of the Household Division at the Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade on Saturday.
It will be the first time the reigning monarch has ridden at Trooping the Colour since 1986 when Queen Elizabeth II last rode.
The parade will move from Buckingham Palace, down The Mall to Horse Guards Parade, where the King will be greeted by a royal salute and will carry out an inspection of the military on parade.
Charles will be joined by the Queen and members of the royal family, including the royal youngsters, to view the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards Troop their Colour.
The Sovereign’s Escort will be provided by The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals.
After the parade, the King, accompanied by Camilla and other family members, will return to Buckingham Palace to appear on the balcony for the fly-past, which will conclude the day’s celebrations.
