Kate Garraway has thrown her son an impressive star-studded birthday and revealed he will have another when dad ‘gets better’.
The Good Morning Britain presenter pulled out all the stops for Billy’s 11th birthday while her husband Derek Draper remains in hospital following his battle with coronavirus.
Myleene Klass, Martin Kemp and his son Roman attended the bash on Saturday, which only forms part of the celebrations for Billy, whose birthday is on July 28.
“It's like the Queen, I told him,” joked Kate as she spoke to her co-host Ben Shephard.
“Because of the situation with his dad being in hospital and all the challenges we are facing with mixing at the moment, he is having four birthdays.
"The first was with his friends on Saturday, which was an absolute storm.
“Smooth Radio provided an extraordinary cake which was delivered by Roman Kemp and his dad Martin Kemp."
The ITV programme then played out some footage from the party, which saw Roman wearing his I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! T-shirt while running around the garden - and a massive tent - with a water gun.
Kate continued: “Billy had a fantastic camp out in the garden with a huge tent, which allowed them to be separate for social distancing.
“Billy was completely overwhelmed. He absolutely loved it.
"He was emotional too of course, but I said we will do it all again when Derek gets better."
