Kate Ferdinand shares insight into maintaining gym-honed body and 'gross' habit

Kate Ferdinand has shared the secrets to her super-toned body but her 'gross' daily diet isn't for everyone.

The former TOWIE star, 31, likes to keep in tip-top shape as she often flaunts her fabulous figure in abs-flashing outfits.

Kate, who is married to ex-footballer Rio Ferdinand, 44, welcomed son Cree into the world in 2020 and is step-mum to Rio's three children Lorenz, Tate and Tia.

And despite juggling mum duties and a hectic schedule, she resumed her intense 5am home HIIT sessions at the gym in their stunning mansion.

Speaking about her gym routine on Vicky Pattison's The Secret To podcast, Kate shared: "I've always been into my workouts, I love working out.

"I do like to look good, I'm not going to lie, but also mentally my life is so manic that that hour in the morning just calms me."

But she says recently she has taken her well-being to the next level to look after her body 'from the inside'.

Kate admitted she still enjoys the odd takeaway and will fix a chocolate craving but she become hooked on a 'gross' diet regime that she vows is 'life changing'.

She added: "I love chocolate I love crisps I love takeaways, everything.

"But what I have been doing, I am obsessed with celery juice."

And although she is quick to admit it 'tastes' vile' she has seen benefits first-hand after a morning veggie smoothie.

She says the smoothies boast skin-boosting properties as well as easing stomach bloating.

The Blended Podcast host admits she found it challenging to get her body back to where she felt comfortable.

Having undergone an emergency C-section giving birth to Cree she was left feeling a far cry from her confident self.

After allowing her body time to heal she got back into fitness gradually and found walking one of the best ways to get those endorphins going.

She previously told followers: “Some days I am like a machine working out, walking, eating healthy and feeling on top of the world.

“Then other days (like yesterday) I haven’t found time for exercise and I’m caught tucking my head in the sweet cupboard looking for some sugar in the hope it will keep me awake.”
