Kate Ferdinand looks incredible in midriff snap just six months after giving birth

Kate Ferdinand has showed off her incredible post-baby figure just six months after giving birth.

The 30-year-old shared snaps of herself in a black crop top, black trousers and a tailored white blazer during a family day out in London at the weekend.

Former TOWIE star Kate completed her glamorous look with gold hoop earrings and styled her blonde hair into a sleek ponytail.

The new mum, who welcomed baby Cree with husband Rio Ferdinand in December, posted the photo to her Instagram stories on Sunday.

Another shot showed Rio, 42, and his sons Lorenz, 14, and Tate, 12, from his previous marriage to late wife Rebecca.

Kate captioned the photo, which was taken in trendy Shoreditch, east London: “Fun afternoon in London with the family.”

Kate has previously spoken out about the pressure to bounce back after having Cree, who was born by emergency caesarean on December 18.

In an interview with The Sun she said: “There are so many things about motherhood that no one tells you.

“I’d had the baby and I was in this whirlwind of emotion. My body was not the body I recognised. I felt really overwhelmed.

“I started panicking: ‘Am I meant to be feeling like this?’ I was looking through social media and thinking. ‘Is this normal? Because no one ever says this.’

Instead of posting a happy snap to her 1.4 million Instagram followers with her ‘hair and make-up done perfect’, Kate bravely chose to share a ‘real’ photo just 11 days after giving birth.

At the time, Kate wrote: “After having an emergency c section and a bit of a traumatic birth, I’ve been completely wiped out.

“The happiness has been overwhelming but so have the tears and emotions.

“I’ve felt like I can’t do what I’m meant to be doing with Cree as I haven’t been able to change or feed him consistently which has had me feeling all types of guilt...

“To be standing up holding my bubba like this is a dream right now. When we are stripped of all the things we can normally do, the small things become extra special.”

She ended the post with: “P.S. for anyone about to give birth, make sure you have a huge stock of big black knickers, the bigger the better."

New dad Rio opened up to Mirror magazine, Notebook, at the weekend, saying he is ‘delighted and happy’ with fourth child, Cree.

Rio revealed: ‘Having a lockdown baby means you’re there a lot more as a parent. You can’t go out and work as you would before, which has been great. He’s been a great addition to our family.”

The football pundit is already father to sons Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, 10, from his marriage to late wife Rebecca, who died from breast cancer in 2015 at the age of 34.

Rio and Kate got together in January 2017 and tied the knot in September 2019.
