MANDYA: Boating facility at Ranganatittu bird sanctuary near Srirangapatna was suspended on Sunday. “Although Boating has been suspended since there is a sudden gush of water in the river due to water release from the KRS reservoir, we fear it may lead to boat capsizing,” said officials.
The tourists who had thronged the sanctuary on Sunday were informed about the restriction and they returned disappointed.
