Karen Gillan’s closest colleague says the star’s Jumanji hot pants are an even tighter squeeze in the sequel.
Stuntwoman Jahnel Curfman, who doubles for the Scot in death-defying sequences, swears the shorts are getting shorter.
The revealing costume worn by 31-year-old Gillan was branded sexist by critics after the original movie.
They described her character Ruby Roundhouse’s outfit as ridiculous for a hard-hitting heroine.
But Jahnel said: “I went in for my fitting and I was like, ‘Karen, I swear these shorts are shorter this year.’”
The 40-year-old, who has also doubled for Sigourney Weaver in Avatar, added: “Both of us, we bitch and complain about that costume – but I think Karen and I really love wearing it.
“It’s a lot of fun. We put a lot of work into it, into diet and exercise and training to make that costume look good. It is pretty badass.”
Jumanji: The Next Level, which premieres in December, also stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Joe Jonas.
