Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey’s relationship is truly goals, thanks to things like their Ozark meet-cute and sweet stories about their daughter (and baby No. 2, who is on the way). Now, as if they couldn’t get any more perfect, Pelphrey’s recent Emmy nominations just made their relationship even more swoonworthy.
Pelphrey has a lot to celebrate, and it’s not just because he and Cuoco are expecting their second child. He also received a 2026 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Robbie Prendergrast in Task (which you can watch with an HBO Max subscription). It is one of six nominations the acclaimed Mark Ruffalo-led HBO drama received, and Pelphrey’s second Emmy nod of his career.
So, to celebrate, Cuoco took to her Instagram Stories to shout out her beau’s big nomination after coming across a billboard about it, and I can’t get enough of it:
I absolutely love how supportive Cuoco and Pelphrey are of each other, and I can’t imagine what it is like to see a billboard of your significant other. Of course, it’s probably not uncommon for either of them to come across billboards like this, but seeing that Emmy campaign definitely makes it all the more incredible. I can only assume that the actress will continue showing her support for her Emmy-nominated fiancé until the Emmys air on September 14, and fans will have to keep their fingers crossed for his potential win.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since Ozark brought Cuoco and Pelphrey together. The pair met at the Season 4 premiere of the Netflix hit back in 2022, and have been close ever since. Apparently, though, Cuoco’s manager wanted to set her up with Pelphrey after her divorce from Karl Cook in 2021, but she wasn’t ready. As fate would have it, the two eventually wound up meeting, and the rest is history.
Surprisingly, despite being together for four years, Cuoco and Pelphrey have yet to work together. They’re both consistently busy with their own projects, and it’s probably hard for both of them to work at the same time while taking care of their daughter. While some couples would rather not work together, they have expressed a desire to do so someday. Cuoco told E! News in 2023 that they “really do want to”; it would just have to be something special.
Having a Hollywood relationship is no small feat, and it’s definitely hard, but Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey are navigating it flawlessly. Whether or not Pelphrey takes home that Emmy is unclear, but I'm certain Cuoco will be by his side to show support no matter what. And that is truly couple goals.
