Juventus boss makes Moise Kean 'leaving out' admission as Everton transfer nears

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has lavished praise on Moise Kean - by admitting the forward is fast becoming a key player in his squad.

Kean joined Juventus' youth ranks back in 2010, spending nine years with the Italian giants before arriving at Goodison Park during the 2019 summer transfer window. The forward joined the club for €27.5million plus €2.5million in add ons.

However, the Italy international netted just twice in 32 Premier League games for Everton and the club stated they were 'appalled' after he filmed himself hosting a house party during the height of strict coronavirus lockdown restrictions. He spent the majority of the 2020/21 season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 17 times in 41 matches in all competitions.

And on transfer deadline day in summer 2021, the striker re-joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal with an obligation for the Turin club to make the move permanent at the end of this campaign. In his first season back in Italy, Kean scored six goals and provided three assists.

After initially struggling at the start of this season, the forward has come into form in recent weeks, and has now grown in importance at the Italian club. He has scored six times in 25 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

“Leaving Kean out is getting harder and harder for me,” Allegri said. “He has improved a lot technically and physically. I think he is a very important player for our squad.”
