Justin Fields named finalist for Manning Award

Justin Fields has another award he’s been named a finalist for. This time, he’s made the list of twelve players selected as a finalist for the Manning Award, which goes to college football’s top quarterback annually.

Despite the shortened season, Fields has put up some pretty impressive numbers. He leads the nation in completion percentage (78.1), and has thrown 15 touchdowns to just three interceptions in five games so far, and his passer efficiency rating of 196.1 is second only to Alabama’s Mac Jones. Fields currently leads the Big Ten and is No. 15 in the country with an average of 281.4 passing yards per game.

The winner of the Manning Award will be announced following the College Football National Championship Game in January.
